Agreement w/ Chris

As my worship leader and friend has mentioned in his blog (see my blog links), our worship rehearsal went really well last night. I readily admit I LOVE playing bass! Something about driving the band harmonically and rhythmically and rounding out its sound is pretty darn awesome! On the other end of that scale is my proficiency at playing acoustic guitar . . . terrible. I just had my first "official" lesson with Chris and I've got a lot of work to do! Its so much different than playing bass, my fingers keep touching multiple strings and making horrible buzzing and muted tones, and having all of this musical knowledge in my head and not being able to instantly get it out on the guitar is frustrating to say the least. Practice, practice, practice. That's the key to getting better. Hopefully I can hold out on smashing the guitar before then!
